UTV Lights and Side by Side Light Bars

UTV lights that fit your machine

A side by side runs harder than a truck: roll cages instead of bumpers, 1.75 or 2 inch tube instead of flat steel, and a stator that will not feed a 500 watt bar all night. Every light on this page is picked for that job. The roll cage pod kits clamp to the lower A pillar without drilling. The model kits pair a 10 to 50 inch Pro Series bar with the bracket for a specific Polaris, Can-Am or Yamaha. The pods, Low Pro bar, GoPOD and rock lights fit any machine. All of it is military grade and IP69K sealed, so mud, washdowns and creek crossings are part of the plan, not a risk.

Pick by machine

If you own a Polaris RZR, Polaris Ranger, Polaris General, Can-Am Maverick X3, Can-Am Defender, Can-Am Commander, Yamaha YXZ or Yamaha Viking, start on that machine's page: the kits there already include the bracket. Honda Pioneer and Talon, Kawasaki Teryx, KRX and Mule, and every other side by side use the universal roll cage kits, pods and the Low Pro bar below.

Pick by light

Light Where it mounts Best for Draw
Roll cage pod kit (2 pods) Lower A pillar, 1.75 or 2 inch tube Trail light without drilling 40W each
2 inch pods Bumper, cage, mirror mounts Ditch and corner fill 20 to 40W
4 inch pods Bumper or cage More throw than a 2 inch, smaller than a bar 120W
Low Pro bar Roof or visor, flush Slim bar that clears a windshield Varies
10 to 20 inch bars Bumper or visor Most trail machines 60 to 200W
30 to 40 inch bars Roof Dunes, high speed trails 150 to 350W
Rock lights Under the chassis Wheel placement, camp light Low

Power and wiring

Watts divided by volts is amps. A 200 watt bar pulls about 17 amps at 12 volts, which is near the accessory limit on many stock stators, so run bars over 100 watts on the included relay harness straight off the battery and keep pods on their own circuit. Pro Series bars and pods ship with the harness, fuse, relay and waterproof switch. The Low Pro bar does not; add the Low Pro wiring kit. Wiring walkthrough: how to wire a light bar.

Beam pattern

Spot for dunes and open desert where you want to see 400 yards ahead. Flood for tight wooded trails and rock. Combo for everything else, and the choice most riders make. Both pod sizes come in spot or flood; bars come in spot, flood or combo.
