Red and Green Hunting Lights | LED Light Bars and Pods

Hunting lights work by putting usable light on the animal in a color it is not sensitive to, and these are the two colors that matter: green for hogs and red for predators. Every light here uses true colored LEDs, not a filter over a white diode, so the color stays true down range. For hogs, the 10 inch green bar and the 20, 30, 40 and 50 inch curved green bars run on truck mounts and high racks, with the 2 inch green pod for feeders and bow setups. For coyotes, bobcats and fox, the 10 inch red predator bar, the 20 to 50 inch curved red bars and the 2 inch red pod in spot, flood or diffused optics do the same job. All bars are combo optics on OSRAM LEDs, IP69K sealed, designed and engineered in Sarasota, Florida, with brackets and harness in the box.

Choose by the game and the distance. Green runs a touch brighter, which helps pick a black hog out of brush at distance, and hogs tolerate it well. Red is the stealth choice for predators, which see poorly at the red end of the spectrum, and it preserves your own night vision while you scan for eye shine. Then size to the mount: a 2 inch pod for a feeder or a rifle rail, a 10 inch bar for a truck bumper or scanning light, and 20 inch and up for a high rack or a bar that needs to light a whole field edge. Red or green for hog hunting?

Green. It is slightly brighter than red at the same power and hogs do not react to it the way they do to white light, so it is easier to pick out a dark hog in brush at distance.

Red or green for coyotes?

Red. Coyotes and other predators are far less sensitive to the red end of the spectrum, so a red light lets you scan for eye shine with the least chance of being noticed.

Are these real red and green LEDs or a colored lens?

True colored diodes. A colored lens over a white LED loses output and shifts color at distance; a true red or green diode keeps both.

Can I run a hunting light on a 24V side by side?

Yes. The bars and pods accept 10 to 30V DC, so 12V trucks and 24V equipment wire the same way.
