How Does the Dimming Feature Work?

Our light bar includes a built-in, four-second warm-up period. This design helps reduce eye strain and eliminates the need for a separate dimmer. During the warm-up phase, you can toggle the light off at any moment. When you turn it back on, the light returns to your selected brightness level.

Does the Light Come with a Wiring Harness?

No, it does not include a wiring harness.

What Size Fuse Should I Use?

We recommend a 15-amp fuse.

What Size Wire Should I Use?

We recommend 14-gauge wire.

What Optic Should I Pick?

Spot: A focused beam that extends over a long distance at a 15 degree hotspot angle. The spot beam delivers precision visibility, designed to reach maximum distance.

Flood: A wider 45-degree beam angle, the flood provides excellent coverage to the front and sides of your vehicle, offering a broader light spread than a spot beam. Ideal for illuminating wider areas while still being considered a distance it reaches an impressive distance.

How Do I Know Your Lights Are the Highest Quality?

Our lights undergo rigorous testing to meet the IP69K rating, ensuring the highest level of durability and reliability. To achieve this certification, each product must pass a series of demanding tests designed to simulate extreme conditions. These include high-pressure water spray at temperatures up to 176°F (80°C), resistance to dust intrusion, and the ability to withstand impacts and vibrations. These strict pass/fail standards guarantee that only the toughest, most resilient products make it through, so you can trust your lights to perform in the harshest environments.

What Does Your Warranty Cover?

We are human, and thus make mistakes. If you believe your light was one of these rare occurrences due to workmanship or material failure, send it back and we will verify. Once confirmed, Black Oak LED will repair, or otherwise replace, your light free of charge.
