Fit, mounting and wiring for a 60 inch light bar

Everything buyers ask us before ordering a 60 inch bar, answered with the real measurements, the wiring notes and the numbers from our spec sheets. The short version: measure the flat span first, because this is the widest bar we build.

Will it fit?

Measure the flat span where the bar will sit, bracket to bracket. The 60 inch curved double row needs 62-1/8 in. and sits 5-5/16 in. deep, so check your roof or rack depth too. It suits full-size truck roofs, the windshield line on big builds, and boat T-tops and hardtops.

How it mounts

Every bar bolts down with the end brackets and hardware in the box. The bracket rotates so you can aim the beam after it is mounted. For tubes and rails, add a universal clamp bracket.

Full-size truck roofThe widest curved bar we make, sized for full-size truck roofs and the windshield line where maximum coverage matters.
Roof rack or headache rackBolt to the crossbar with the included end brackets. Check the 62-1/8 in. bracket span against your rack first.
Boat T-top or hardtopThe marine version in white housing is IP69K sealed for saltwater and washdown, for offshore runs and night navigation.

The 60 inch bar does not include a wiring harness, switch or relay. Our spec sheet calls for a 30A fuse and 10 gauge wire.

Wiring diagram

The 60 inch bar does not ship with a harness. Our spec sheet lists a 30A fuse and 10 gauge wire. Connect positive to the battery through the fuse and a relay, ground to the negative, and mount the switch where you can reach it seated.

Brightness & beam

Figures are for our 5W LED builds, the brightest version of each bar. Combo optics put a 15° spot down the center for distance and 45° flood on the sides for width; spot and flood-only versions are available on both 60 inch bars. 6,000K color temperature, rated for 50,000 hours.

Every number here is the 5 Watt build. It is our highest-output version and the one we recommend. Many bars also come in a lower-priced 3 Watt build; compare both on the product page.

Same LEDs and optics. The marine bars use a white powder-coated housing and are sold with marine mounting options; every bar is IP69K sealed for saltwater and pressure washdown.
