Coyote Hunting Lights | Predator LED Light Bars and Pods

Collection: Coyote Hunting Lights | Predator LED Light Bars and Pods

Coyote hunting lights are red because a coyote coming to a call is already on edge, and red does not set them off the way white does. Black Oak PREDATOR RED bars use true red LEDs, not a white LED behind a red lens. The 10 inch double row red bar is the standard setup on a truck, UTV or shooting rail. The 20 to 50 inch bars cover a pasture from a high rack. The 2 inch red pods are the scan light. Designed and engineered in Sarasota, Florida, in a military grade housing.

How to choose: for calling from a truck, a 10 inch red bar on the rack plus a 2 inch red pod for scanning covers most stands. For open country, step up to a 20 or 30 inch bar with combo optics for distance in the center and width on the ends. If you shoot through night vision or thermal, add a 940nm infrared bar. It is invisible to the coyote and the scope sees everything. Browse the full hunting light bar collection for green hog lights as well. If you are still deciding between a bar and a pod, read our guide on which red light to choose.

Red or green for coyotes?

Red is the traditional coyote color and it preserves your own night vision better. Green shows more detail at distance and is the usual pick for hogs.

How far can I see a coyote with a red light bar?

A 10 inch combo bar will light eyes well past 200 yards and give you a shootable picture at 100 to 150. A 30 inch bar pushes that farther.

850nm or 940nm IR?

850nm is brighter but shows a faint red glow at the lens. 940nm is fully invisible with a little less reach. Both work with digital night vision.
