Bow Lights for Boats | LED Bow and Deck Lighting

Collection: Bow Lights for Boats | LED Bow and Deck Lighting

Bow lights for boats means one of two things. Either you need the red and green navigation lights the Coast Guard requires, or you need a work light on the bow to see the ramp, markers and bank in the dark. This page is the second kind. These are LED deck and bow work lights, not navigation lights. The 2 inch marine pods are the most common bow light we sell, small enough to tuck under a rail, with spot or flood optics in a white or black marine housing. The 6 and 10 inch marine double row bars go on larger bows and center consoles. Everything here is designed and engineered in Sarasota, Florida, with IP69K rated housings for salt water.

How to choose: a pair of 2 inch pods on the bow corners gives you a wide view for docking and running a creek. Spot optics reach farther, flood optics spread wider, and diffused is a soft deck light that does not blind the crew. Go to a 6 or 10 inch bar if you run open water at night and want distance. See the full marine LED light bar collection for every size.

Are these navigation lights?

No. These are deck and bow work lights. You still need Coast Guard approved red, green and white navigation lights to run at night.

Can I run a bow light while underway?

Many states restrict white forward lights while underway. Use them for docking, anchoring and ramp work, and check your local rules.

Spot or flood for a bow light?

Flood for docking and close work, spot if you need to see a marker two hundred yards out.

Will they survive salt water?

Yes. The marine housings are sealed and rated for wash down and salt spray.
