I was impressed with how well they increased the night visibility; but, I think a better explanation is how much visibility I lost when turning them off. After the amazing brightness you feel almost blind with them off.
We do a lot of dry camping at the sand dunes, at the lake, and out in the Nevada Desert. Many times by the time I get off work and finish packing. We are arriving at our destination in the darkness of night. Black Oak LED lighting has made it much easier and safer to pull in and set up camp in the dark. I have spot and flood pods as well as a 20" lightbar on the front bumper. Flush mount flood pods on the side headache rack of my flatbed, as well as rear facing flood pods.
