Overview

A flashlight built to outlive its battery

The GX6 is the everyday-carry model in the GX Series: 800 lumens from a 6061 aircraft-aluminum body that still slips into a jacket pocket at 8.2 ounces. Slide the head to zoom from a wide flood for close work to a tight throw that reaches roughly 2,030 feet. Run high, medium, low, strobe or SOS — or hold the button and dial brightness anywhere between. It charges over USB-C, doubles as a power bank for your phone, and the 18650 cell comes out when it’s finally worn, so you replace a battery instead of a flashlight.

What it does

Small enough to carry, bright enough to matter

800 lumens is more than most people ever carry, and the GX6 puts it in a body that actually leaves the drawer.

01

Real Zoom, Not A Reflector

Slide the head forward for a tight spot that throws ~2,030 ft, or back for a wide flood that lights the whole work area. One light instead of two.

02

Stepless Dimming + Memory

High, medium, low, strobe and SOS — plus hold the button to dial brightness anywhere between. Turn it off and it comes back on at the level you left it.

03

Charges Both Directions

USB-C straight into the light, no cradle needed. Flip it around and the flashlight becomes an emergency power bank for a phone or radio.

04

Replaceable 18650 Cell

The 2,600 mAh cell comes out. Carry a charged spare for a long shift, or replace it years down the road instead of replacing the flashlight.

Output

800 lumens in a pocket-sized body

A high-output LED behind a zoom optic and a 6000–6500K beam — daylight white that shows true color on a trail, in an engine bay, or across open ground at 2 a.m.

Know your charge

The button tells you where you stand

An LED in the center of the power button reads out remaining charge, so you are never guessing before a shift or a hunt.

75–100% Solid green 50–75% Flashing green 25–50% Solid red Under 25% Flashing red

While charging: solid red means charging, solid green means full and ready. Used as a power bank, the indicator glows solid red when the reserve is running low.

Flood for the work, spot for the distance

Push the head in and you get a wide, even flood for changing a tire, working under a hood, or walking a campsite. Pull it out and the same light collapses into a column you can put on a tree line across a field.

Built like a tool, protected like electronics

A 6061 aircraft-aluminum body machined for grip and heat dissipation, IP54 weather sealing, and protection circuitry underneath — over-voltage, low-voltage, reverse polarity, and smart thermal regulation that eases brightness back before the head gets hot enough to hurt anything.

FAQ

Questions, answered

GX6 or GX8 — which should I buy?

The GX6 is the everyday-carry model — 800 lumens, an 18650 cell, 8.2 oz, and a body that fits a jacket pocket. Step up to the GX8 if you want nearly twice the output (1,500 lumens), a 5,000 mAh cell, and a longer run on high. Controls, zoom, charging and warranty are identical.

How far does the beam actually reach?

Zoomed to spot, the GX6 throws roughly ~2,030 ft — better than a third of a mile. Zoomed to flood, the same light spreads wide for close-in work at arm’s length.

Can I charge my phone from it?

Yes. USB-C charging runs both directions, so the flashlight doubles as an emergency power bank. The light stays off while it is discharging into another device, and the indicator glows solid red when the reserve is getting low.

Is the battery replaceable?

Yes — that’s the point. The GX6 uses a standard 18650 cell rated 2,600 mAh, and it comes out. Carry a charged spare for long shifts, or top one off in an external cradle charger. When a cell finally wears out you replace the cell, not the flashlight.

Is it waterproof?

It carries an IP54 rating — sealed against dust and splashing water from any direction. Rain, snow and a wet work site are no problem. It is not a dive light and should not be submerged.

How do I get to strobe and SOS?

Double press the power button to enter strobe/SOS, then a single press to exit back to normal light. A single press turns the light on and off, press-and-hold changes brightness, and a triple press followed by holding gives you stepless dimming.

Will it get hot on high?

The head warms with extended use — that is the aluminum doing its job. Smart thermal regulation automatically eases brightness back if internal temperature climbs past safe limits, so neither the LED nor the cell is ever at risk.

What does the 5-year warranty cover?

Five years from the date of purchase against defects in quality and workmanship under normal use — repaired or replaced free of charge. Accessories, normal wear, damage from disassembly or non-genuine parts, and use beyond rated limits are not covered.
