These red diffused light are one of the best upgrades I’ve made in a long time. Essential for fishing at night and giving me visibility to stay clear from other boats and nets. Couldn’t recommend these more. Bonus that the power consumption is low for the red LED.

For years I set up temporary flood lights for our annual lighted boat parade. Everyone kept telling me how good it looked and I should make it permanent. I searched for years to no avail. I’m beyond satisfied with my new pod lights. I have them mounted on the back of my boat for nighttime fishing. The lights are bright beyond any Amazon special, and the red light illuminates great with out affecting my night vision. I can look behind me and see several hundred yards clearly, and look back forward and my eyes are still adjusted to the pitch black surroundings. I had a simple question about the faceplate screw head size, (I mixed up my Allan bits and couldn’t find one to fit) after inquiring that night I had an email first thing the next morning and shortly after a phone call to make sure my question was answered. Great product and great customer service.

I am extremely happy with the brightness of these red LED light pods. I ordered the Red LED light pods with diffused lenses. I've had them mounted on my hunting pickup for a few weeks now and am very impressed with the illumination distance of the diffused lenses. They easily have enough range to operate the vehicle with just the two pods turned on. Last night I tested them in blizzard conditions and was very happy with their performance. They worked better than my headlights or ditch lights, since the light reflection on the snow was less.
